The Deserted Island Exam challenges students to survive on an island as a
group. Each class starts some essential supplies:
- 2 Tents
- 2 Flashlights
- 1 Matchbox
- Unlimited sunscreen
- A toothbrush for each student
- A basic toilet.
Each class begins with 300 points. These points can be used to buy extra items from the school. At the end of the test, any points left are added to the class's total Class Points. However, if any student is unable to continue, their class is penalized 30 points. So, they lose 30 points from their 300 points.
To guide them, each class is provided with one manual. Additional manuals can be purchased with points.
Each student wears a wristwatch that monitors their health, including temperature and pulse, as well as their location. These watches cannot be removed before the exam ends. They also have an emergency button that alerts the school in case of emergencies, allowing immediate assistance.
Students must set up camp at a chosen location, which cannot be changed without a valid reason. Each class selects a leader, who is given a key card with their name. Once selected, the leader cannot be changed unless there is a proper reason.
At everyday 8am and 8 pm rollcall taken by home room teachers. If someone doesn’t showup their class lose additional points.
The island contains various locations called spots, which can be occupied by students to earn points. Every spot occupied adds 1 point to the total points the class have. However, the occupation of each spot is temporary, lasting only 8 hours. After that, the spot becomes available again and can be reoccupied by the same or another class. To occupy a spot, only the class leader is allowed to use their key card.
At the end of the exam, classes are given the opportunity to guess the leaders of other classes. A correct guess earns 50 points. However, if their own leader is identified, the class loses 50 points and the removal of all points earned from occupying spots. Incorrect guesses result in a loss of 50 points.
