The catch was that the students needed to reach a consensus on each question; if they disagreed, they would have to keep voting until they found common ground. Once an agreement was reached on a question, the students were obligated to follow through with the decision, or they risked being stuck in the same round until they ran out of time and had to pay a penalty of 300 class points.
In the second year, during the Unanimous Vote Special exam, Sakura Airi was expelled because she had the lowest OAA in the class. Her expulsion earned the class 100 points.

Unanimous vote - Special Exam
The 5th question asked in the exam was,
Expel one person for 100 class points.
A) Agree
B)Disagree
Most of the group disagreed with the idea. However, two members did vote in favor of expelling someone. Everyone knew that Koenji was one of the people voting against the expulsion, but most had no idea who the second person was. After some discussions and four rounds of voting, Koenji changed his mind and voted in against the expulsion.
No matter what happened, the votes remained unchanged until the 12th round. By then, the number of votes supporting the expulsion had increased to two. In the 14th round, it went up to twelve. Then Ayanokoji pointed out that the person who voted in favor would likely continue to do so no matter what happened. Since the penalty for failing this exam was significant, he argued that they needed to consider their other options.
Despite this, Horikita requested one more vote from the class. Unfortunately, the result was the same, with only one vote still in favor of the expulsion. As the voting continued into the 16th round, the majority ended up voting for the expulsion of someone. After reaching an agreement, Chabashira provided them with two options: they could either select someone through a vote or have the school randomly choose someone.
In a surprising turn, Hirata nominated himself as the sacrifice. Naturally, 32 votes were against this decision.
Kushida’s Plan
During the argument Kushida began to cry and shared her regret about voting to expel someone. She mentioned that those who convinced the class to vote for the expulsion needed to take responsibility, and she suggested that they should be expelled. She clarified that neither Horikita nor Ayanokoji had to be expelled.
Since the next round coming shortly Horikita nominated herself for expulsion but received 22 votes against her. Then, Ayanokoji pointed out that Kushida had been the one consistently voting for expulsions, surprising the entire class. However, many of them didn’t believe Ayanokoji, and some even accused him, arguing that he should be the one expelled.
Ayanokoji started to explain that he and Horikita attended the same junior high school as Kushida, revealing her real personality. Unfortunately, he ran out of time before he could finish his explanation, and the next voting round began. Ayanokoji volunteered to be the person for this vote, but Kushida pretended to want to vote for herself and encouraged everyone to expel her. However, 33 students voted against this idea.
Ayanokoji then explained that Kushida had a different side to her personality. Since he and Horikita were aware of it, they realized that Kushida was trying to get them expelled. At this point, some students asked Ayanokoji for proof.
Ayanokoji revealed that Kushida had been blackmailing him since their
first year, taking half of his private points every month. Kushida
denied this, claiming she was merely holding the points for him.
Ayanokoji
countered by revealing he had recorded their earlier conversation.
Shocked, Kushida attempted to shift the blame, accusing Ayanokoji of
misbehaving toward her and claiming to have proof. However, Ayanokoji
denied her accusations and reminded everyone that she had conspired
with Ryuen to expel Horikita during the sports festival.
Realizing her lies were exposed, Kushida dropped her façade and began revealing secrets about some of the girls in the class. The majority of the class agreed that Kushida should be expelled, but Horikita opposed the decision, arguing that Kushida was a valuable asset to the class. The entire class and even Kushida herself disagreed with Horikita. The class had to decide before the time ran out.
Sakura Airi Expelled
After everyone realised expulsion was unavoidable, Ayanokoji proposed that the student with the lowest OAA in the class should be expelled, identifying Sakura Airi as that student.
Haruka strongly disagreed with this and urged her classmates to vote for her instead. However, three students opposed her suggestion. In the end, Sakura accepted the situation and asked everyone to cast their votes for her expulsion.
